Origin + Story
Often labeled Monstera sp. Peru because the species is still being formally described in some literature. Not a true Monstera in the strictest taxonomic sense, but sold under that name everywhere.
Native to Peru and the surrounding Andean foothills. A climbing aroid that uses trees and rocks for support.
Thick, almost stiff leaves with a heavily textured, quilted surface. The leaves catch light differently than any other Monstera, which is most of the appeal.
Grows well on moss poles, in bright corners, with collectors who want a Monstera that doesn't look like every other Monstera.
