Origin + Story
Neon Pothos is a cultivar selected for its uniform, vivid chartreuse-to-lime-green foliage. Unlike Golden Pothos, there is no variegation pattern: the entire leaf is one solid, luminous shade of neon green-yellow.
The color is arresting. In the right light, a Neon Pothos on a shelf can visually anchor an entire room. It pairs especially well against dark walls or darker foliage plants. The color will dull toward standard green in low light.
Care guide
Light: Medium to bright indirect. Light directly affects color vibrancy.
Water: When top 1-2 inches dry.
Humidity: Tolerates average. 40-60% ideal.
Temperature: 60-85F.
Soil: Aroid mix or standard potting soil with perlite.
Toxicity: Toxic to cats and dogs.
Growth Rate: Fast.
Detailed care
Light
Medium to bright indirect maintains the neon color. In low light, loses its defining characteristic entirely.
Common Issues
Color fading to green: Insufficient light, the number one issue
Yellowing: Overwatering
Sunburn: Lighter pigmentation makes it slightly more susceptible
