It became widely available in the early 2000s and has since become one of the most popular variegated trailing plants due to its color, vigor, and forgiving nature.

Detailed care

Light

Medium to bright indirect is ideal for maintaining variegation. In low light, may revert to solid green.

Reversion

If producing all-green leaves, prune back to last variegated leaf and increase light.

Common Issues

  • Loss of variegation: Insufficient light

  • Yellowing: Overwatering

  • Brown spots: Sunburn on variegated portions
