Brasil is a naturally occurring sport of Philodendron hederaceum selected for its variegation pattern: a broad central stripe of lime to golden green running down each dark green leaf. No two leaves are identical.
It became widely available in the early 2000s and has since become one of the most popular variegated trailing plants due to its color, vigor, and forgiving nature.
