Naming note. A hybrid, believed to involve Philodendron erubescens and Philodendron wendlandii. The pink-to-red petioles are the defining trait, distinguishing it from other yellow-green philodendrons. Distinct from 'Golden Goddess,' which has similar coloring but different leaf shape and green petioles.
A cultivated hybrid, no wild counterpart. Bred for the striking contrast between chartreuse-yellow foliage and pink-to-red petioles.
Chartreuse to yellow-green leaves on hot pink to deep red stems. New growth is even more saturated. The color contrast is the whole point, and it does not disappoint when the plant is properly lit.
Grows well with moss poles, cream and clay backdrops, warm woods, and anyone who wants a philodendron that behaves like a color story.
